Linda Harper Creel, age 69 of Helena passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016. She was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church and was an Accountant for more than 40 years. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Ralph Creel; sister, Sandra Harper Marino and husband Don; nephew, Chris Salamone and wife Kristi; great nieces: Claire Harper and Emma James Salamone; and many special friends. Her Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Independent Presbyterian Church, 3100 Highland Avenue, Birmingham with interment in the church columbarium. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to her church. Arrangements under the direction of Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, Birmingham, AL.
