Linda L Henry

Linda Louise Henry, 80, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on August 15, 2025.

Born to William and Dorothy Henry, Linda was a gifted musician who played in the Auburn University Marching Band and remained active with the Alumni Band. She worked for Alabama Power Company for many years and later at Kirkwood by the River, where she was dearly loved by residents and staff.

Linda’s life was full of joy and community. She enjoyed music, square dancing, camping, football, Elvis Presley, and the Olympics. Most of all, she loved the Lord. After giving her life to Christ in 1982, she faithfully served through church choirs, children’s ministry, and her card ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Henry, and her brother, Bill Henry. She is survived by her sister, Carol Gamble; sister-in-law, Barbara Henry; nieces, Krista and Jordan; nephews, Paul and Nathan; and many close friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel in Trussville, Alabama, on Saturday, August 23, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life service at 4:00 p.m.
