Dan,
We are so sorry to hear about Linda's passing.  Our prayers are with you and Amy.  We were aware of her illness because our daughter, Vicki, was one of her nurses at Princeton.  Although we have not seen either of you lately, we still remember all our neighbors on Atkins Trimm.  God Bless you and your family.

Dan, Nancy and I lived directly across the street from you and Linda. This was a shock to us. We remember going camping at Smith lake with you, Amy, and Linda. Horrall & Dottie West were there too. Nancy and I came through Birmingham on June 27th. We met with Dottie West. Tried desperatly to find a phone number for you, but couldn't find one. We were going to try and see you while there. I will also say that I never saw Linda without that great smile. We are sorry we missed you two. May God bless you, Amy and Family.

I was honor to know Mrs. Trotman since the first grade at Vestavia West from growing up with Amy.  She was such a wonderful person to know and always pleasant and fun spirited.  She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.  My deepest condolences to the family.

Dan, You might remember Linda lived with me when she moved to the "big city".  We grew up together and Linda has always been very special to me.  She was the only cousin I had who was anywhere close to my age. Over the years we would only see each other occasionally, when I would come home for a visit, but my feelings for her never changed.  I treasure the memories I have of our childhood, jumping out of the swing into the picked cotton on Aunt Leadoll's porch.  
Linda had the best laugh & the biggest, sweetest smile of anyone I have ever known.  My heart is heavy & sad that I cannot be there.  But she lives on in my heart, and I can hear her laugh even now!

Linda's love for life, her smile, her laughter, and love for her family were a few things that made her who she was.  She touched so many lives and will be missed tremendously.  My prayers and deepest sympathy at this time of great loss for all of the family.

Dr Trotman, I never knew your wife personally, but remember all the times you would talk about her and what a great mother she was when you would give me tips and encouragement while rearing my four children. To all the family, I am so sorry for your loss of Linda but I am selfish and am also so very sorry about my loss.  She was the best friend I ever had and I dont know how I am going to get along without her sweet smile and voice.  She was a wonderful friend and person and I hope you all can remember just the good things about her.  There were a lot of good things about Linda.  She was my friend and she will be missed on a daily basis.
