BLACKMON, LISA MORGAN, age 51 of Trussville, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 8, 2015. She attended Erwin High School and Jacksonville State University and was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. A unique soul, Lisa had a heart of gold, was very funny, and enjoyed traveling and reading. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Morgan. She is survived by her daughter, Morgan Blackmon; granddaughters, Westlyn and Le’Myah; mother, Billie Morgan; sisters, Lori Morgan and Leigh Morgan McCary (Phillip); and nephews, Daniel and Nicholas. She lost her fiance’, Mike Chatham in October and we pray they are now reunited. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with a memorial service beginning at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association or Hilldale Children’s Ministry.
