Lisa was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, dear friend to many, and a faithful child of God. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Reed, and her son, Jayce Reed. Her legacy continues through her two grandchildren, Jack and Avery Reed, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jack and Jean Wisdom.
Lisa lived a full life marked by love, adventure, and strength. She found joy in playing the piano, gardening, and spending time at the beach. In her younger years, she was an avid tennis player and loved sailing her Hobie Cat along the Gulf Coast. Lisa was also a wonderful hostess who delighted in gathering loved ones for parties filled with food, drinks, games, and laughter.
Her warmth, humor, and unwavering spirit touched everyone who knew her. Whether she was exploring new places, spending time with her dog Maria, or enjoying quiet moments with family, Lisa embraced every chapter of life with gratitude and grace.
She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for the compassion she gave so freely and the life she lived so fully. Her story continues through those who carry her love forward. Though she has left this earthly life, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
A private family service will be held to honor her memory. Lisa had a great love for animals and was a long-time supporter of the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor. Link for donations below.
