LANE, LOIS LAVONNE, age 87, of Trussville, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 3, 2012 at a local hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born in Indiantown, Florida on January 23, 1925. Her greatest joys were her family; her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid NASCAR fan in general and more specifically was a longtime passionate fan of Jeff Gordon. She is survived by two daughters, Leslie Davis (Bob) and Paula Rodgers (Jim); son, Ronald Lane; grandsons, Ben Davis (Pam), James Davis and Paul Davis; great grandson, Jake Davis; and great granddaughter, Laney Davis. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 10-11 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
