Lois O. Walker

WALKER, LOIS O. EASTERWOOD, age 97, of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Willard Walker; son, Darrell Walker; and daughters, Mary Evelyn Mullins, Joyce Riggins and Diane Colafrancesco. She is survived by her sons, Ernie Walker (Betsy) and Randy Walker (Molly); daughters, Majel McCulloch (Travis) and Denise Nichols (David); grandchildren, Lee Michelle, Brad, Stephanie, Jeanetta, Bass, Tiffany, Wes, Kelly, Jason, John, Katie Lois, Will, Thomas, Lesley, Luke, Emma, Logan, Landan and Lacie; 17 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. Lois enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting and being with her family especially her grandchildren. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. The family wishes to thank East Glen Nursing Home, especially Pat, Kamecka, Bobbie, Katie and Ray. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 12-2 PM with the service beginning at 2 PM.
