Louise Roper Moore of Spanish Fort, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the age of 97. A native of Trussville, Alabama she was born on July 6, 1921, to the late Israel Edward and Alma Dean Roper.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Alma Ruth Julian; and her sisters, Emma Roper Bridges, Florrie Allen, and Helen Sims.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Linda R. Brock (John) and Emma Sue Charlton; grandchildren, John Taylor Julian, Leah Julian Davis, Malise Brock Langlitz , Wendy Taylor, Lei Creighton, Emma Ruth Charlton, and Richard Charlton; Nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Edward I. Roper (Jean); sisters, Margaret Sims and Claire Louis Newton (Rip); along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 2:00 pm with a visitation beginning at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
