Luthine Reed, age 85. Beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on the morning of July 11th, 2025 in Argo Alabama, where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Jesse T. Reed.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Cofield (John), granddaughter Jessica Cofield (Christian), and grandson Cody Cofield. In addition she is also survived by three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy,Thursday, July 17th, from 12:30-1:30 pm, followed by a graveside a 2:00 graveside at Forest Crest Cemetery, 5730 US-78, Birmingham, Al 35210.
