Lynn Phelps Kelley age 66 of Birmingham, AL died March 22, 2016. Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her sister Janice Dukes and father Sam Phelps. She is survived by her mother Mrs. Wayne Phelps; daughter Shelley Phelps; son Daniel Kelley; granddaughter Brittan Kelley and a host of nephews and nieces. She will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Lynn graduated from West End High School. She was a member of West Haven and Birch Tree Garden Clubs. She was a member of Beverly United Methodist Church and later transferred to The Church of Ross Bridge. Lynn loved her family, friends and was very fond of her cat, Lucy. Her father, Sam Phelps was a fifty year employee of American Cast Iron Company. Lynn was very proud to have grown up in the Acipco family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with graveside services and burial following at 11:00am. Rev Carroll Andrews and Rev. John Mount will officiate from The Church at Ross Bridge. In lieu of flowers make donations to Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
