Mamie Jo Loudermilk

Mamie Jo Loudermilk, 88, of Birmingham, Alabama, was born August 28, 1937, and passed away March 30, 2026. Mamie was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Tarrant where she taught Sunday School. She worked many years teaching Ceramics and Crafts at the Tarrant Community Center. She spent her last few years at the Manor at Bluewater Bay. The family extends many thanks for the love and care they provided.

Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lena Margaret Peoples; her husband, Neil Loudermilk; her daughter, Patti Sanford; her sister, Addie Lee Hallmark; and her brother, Wayne Peoples.

Mamie is survived by her son, Al Loudermilk (Kina); her sister, Dot Higginbotham; her brother, Bill Peoples; her grandchildren, Cody Sanford (Megan), Lacie Thornton (Dillon), Drennen Sanford, Tisha Williamson (Joe) ,and Melissa Potter (Brittany); her great-grandchildren, Hadley Williamson, Cannon Sanford, and Harper Sanford.

Visitation will be held at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, US, on April 4, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will follow at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, US, on April 4, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.
