Graveside service for Margaret H. Hodges age 79 of Eastaboga will be at 2 pm March 19, 2014 at Elmwood Cemetery with visitation 1 hour prior at Elmwood Chapel. Margaret is survived by her husband James Hodges Sr., sons Steve (Renea) Kirkpatrick of Fort Walton Beach, FL and James (Kelsey) Hodges Jr. of Eastaboga, Daughters Debie (Jim) Kirkpatrick Bain of Alex City, Angela (Stephen) Downey of Eastaboga, Grandchildren Tiffany Trejo, Brittany Stegall, Kimberly Varner, Jim Bain III, Michael Kirkpatrick, Katie Proech, Hallie Bain, Tripp Downey, Havana Downey. Born and raised in Decatur, AL. She lived most of her adult life in Birmingham where she owned her own staffing company and was pianist at Lakeside Baptist Church & Boyles UMC. After moving to Calhoun County she was an organist at Calvary Baptist & Eulaton Baptist churches.
