Margaret Tamplin Tanner, age 97 of Hoover, AL passed away peacefully at her home on January 8th, 2016. Born in Loachapoka, AL, she attended and graduated from Auburn University where she met and married her husband Drexel Tanner. She is preceded in death by her husband, Drexel Tanner, son Ronald Tanner, sisters Marye Katherine Stevens, Elizabeth Kuzmicki, and brother Leonard Tamplin. She is survived by her son Gary Tanner and beloved pet "Snapper". Visitation will be held at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm with graveside service immediately following.
