Margaret Jenkins Walker, age 94, of St. Martin’s in the Pines, went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2021. She was born on July 27, 1927, to Mr. and Mrs. Cecil M. Jenkins in Montezuma, Georgia. She was the eldest of their five children, all of which preceded her in death. Margaret loved her two children, two grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dawson Walker. She is survived by her two sons, Lee Dawson Walker (Donna) and Jack Timothy Walker (Claudia). The family has fond memories of holiday gatherings and vacations. Visitation will be at Johns Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10 am with the funeral service to follow at 11. There will be no graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Vestavia Hills Baptist Church Children’s Ministry. In view of the current COVID situation, masks are requested.
