WILLIAMS, MARGARET BROCK, age 83, of Birmingham, formerly of Knoxville, TN, died Thursday, September 9, 2010. Mrs. Williams worked 8 years as a millinery buyer for Millers Department Store in Knoxville, TN, before starting her family , and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a long-time member of Centercrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Herman Williams; and son, Rex Herman Williams. Survivors include son, Kent Williams (Debra) of Clay, AL; daughter, Tanna Williams Griggs of Moody, AL; sister, Betty Irwin of Knoxville, TN; grandsons, Luke and Jonathan Williams; Brock and Blake Griggs; and great-grand-daughter, Tavia Griggs. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 18th, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. E.S.T., at Mynatt Funeral Home in Knoxville, TN, with Reverend Tim Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Duncan Cemetery in New Tazewell, TN. The family will receive friends at Ridout's Trussville Chapel Tuesday, September 14th, 2010, from 6-8 p.m.
