Marion Judy Reed, age 75, of Birmingham, passed away on December 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Reed, parents, E.L and Mary Thompson, and brother, Sonny Thompson. During her last few years, she was a resident at Brookdale Place. Judy enjoyed life and spending time with her friends. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Burell (Jeff), grandchildren, Lindsay Zimmerman (Tyler James) and Christopher Burell, great grandson, Landen Zimmerman, sisters Reevie Terry (Dorlin) and Juanita Lott, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 from 1:30 - 2:30 at Elmwood Chapel. Services immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to your favorite charity.
