Martha H. Apperson, 89, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel McGee Apperson; daughter, Patricia Richards Copeland; and brother, Frank Huskstep. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Perry Apperson (Donna), Glen David Apperson, and Amelia Ponder Gamble (Bryan); 9 grand children and 9 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will occur Friday, February 4, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211. A graveside service for Martha will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211.
