I just learned of Dr. Green's making her entry through the pearly gates, and though I know she's there, I am sad. She took such good care of me til she retired (1966-1985). She delivered my oldest son in 1966, sent him immediately to the high risk nursery at UAB where he recovered, and is still healthy. I firmly believe God sent us to her, else he might not have survived. She also delivered my youngest son in 1975. We are so very blessed to have had her in our lives!

Bobby and Woody, we are all saddened by the loss of your mother.  She was an impressive woman, a real trailblazer in her field.  She was also admirable personally, with a fun sense of humor.  I saw her last 6-7 yrs ago with Mother, Evelyn Morris, when we ran into her in a restaurant in Homewood.  You were with her, Bobby, and we all had lunch  together,  She leaves a fine legacy.  I know you are proud of her.

My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.  She was a wonderful woman and certainly a credit to her profession.  She delivered my son just a couple of months before Adam was born. I remember her as being a very caring, kind doctor. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I am sad to hear of the loss of your mother.  I have many fond memories with her over the years and with you two as kids at Christmas time. I last saw her after Daddy died. She was a remarkable person, so ahead of her time. I'm sending a photo of your mother and mine together at mother's nursing school when they were both young.  I have other photos of your family.  Contact me if you are interested. Your family was always so important to my own.

She was my mom's doctor for many years.  She delivered me in 1966 at South Highland, and my brother in 1975 at Brookwood.  My mom spoke very highly of her.  Sorry to hear of her passing.

A great lady she was indeed.  It was my pleasure to have been a colleague of hers at Brookwood Hospital during her practice days there.
