Martha (Mott) Eunice Hartzog Watkins, born December 31, 1940, peacefully went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Watkins; her parents, Eunice and John Foy Hartzog; and her brothers, Ewell, Samuel, and Billy.
Mott is survived by her many nieces and nephews, along with numerous relatives and dear friends who loved her deeply.
In her final years, Mott made her home with her niece, Linda Elrod, whose care, compassion, dignity, and love meant so much to her and to the entire family. We will be forever grateful to Linda for the devotion she showed.
Mott had a special love for dogs and never missed an opportunity to pick one up and shower it with affection.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to your local humane society in her memory.
