WHISENHUNT, MARTHA INEZ, age 81 of Trussville, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Genevieve Leslie; brother, Aubrey Leslie; sister, Vivian Polo; and nephew, Henry Polo. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William W. Whisenhunt; son, Tonja J. Whisenhunt (Jana); grandchildren, Kinsey Huber, Channing Huber and Roger “Trey” Huber III; nieces, Martha Polo, Rita Collins, Judy Polo and Benny Polo; and a host of extended family and friends. Martha was a longtime federal inspector with the USDA. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10-11 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11:00. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
