BURKS, MARY "JEAN" age 89, of Mt. Olive passed away, Tuesday June 5, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerdes O. Burks, one son, Steven G. Burks, 3 brothers; Royce, Leroy and Cleburne Osborne and one sister Mae Malchow. Jean is survived by two sons; Terran R. Burks (Patsy) and Michael C. Burks, 3 sisters; Lois Allred, Essielene Martin and Maude Schnittker, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ. Services will be held Friday June 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at Elmwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery
