DERRYBERRY, MARY CHARLES, age 87 of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Derryberry; and parents, Jake and Erma Wiggins. She is survived by her sister, Linda K. Seagle; nephew, Gerald “Jerry” Seagle; niece, Tracy Seagle Stafford (Shaun); great nephews, Jacob Seagle (Whitney), Harrison Seagle and Griffin Wiley; and great niece, Victoria Stafford. Mary was born in Hartselle, AL and graduated from Phillips High School and Jacksonville State College. She married James Harold Derryberry in 1972. Mary was employed by Alabama AFL-CIO for 47 years as the private secretary to the president. She was an avid bowler, golfer and Auburn fan. There will be a graveside service at Forest Hill Cemetery on Saturday, October 10, 2020 beginning at 11:30.
