Mary Elizabeth Roden Douglas, age 95, of Birmingham, died April 14, 2013. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and retired from the U.S. Government. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, April 18, at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 17, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel with a Rosary at 7 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Douglas and son, Gregory R. Douglas. Survivors: sons, William L. Douglas (Teresa), Robert J. Douglas (Theresa); daughter, Patricia D. Finkelstein, all of Birmingham; grandchildren, Anne Marie Upton (Matt), Janet Leigh Douglas, Alex G. Finkelstein, Gregory P. Douglas, Katherine E. Douglas, and Emily S. Douglas; sisters, Ann R. Williams of Birmingham and Betty R. DiGrazia of Blanchard, Louisiana; and many loving great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
