Mary Nell Pate, age 96, of Center Point, Alabama passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. She grew up in Winfield, AL. She was a former long-time member of Hilldale Baptist Church. She worked in the grocery business, was a seamstress, and a homemaker for many years. She also kept children in her home for a number of years. Mary loved Jesus and her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed and was loved by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sidney Voce and Fannie Josephine Voce; her husband, William C. Pate; and her son, Randall C. Pate.
Mary is survived by her brothers, Bill Voce (Faye) and Ed Voce (Jo); her son, Gregory Lee Pate; her grandson, Branden Pate; her nephews, Ray Fisher (Jackie), Ron Miller (Rhonda), Steve Miller, and Bubba Voce; her niece Diane Fisher; and many other nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Mary will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. Dr. Ron Pate will be officiating the service.
