RAY, MARY W. 92, passed away on August 19, 2010. She was born in Birmingham, Al on February 19, 1918. She was a lifelong resident of Birmingham until 4 years ago when she moved to Atlanta where her son lived. She was member of Green Valley Baptist Church in Hoover. She is survived by her son, Charles C. Ray and daughter in law Cathy Ray of Atlanta. She has two granddaughters Carie Fontaine of Atlanta and Melissa Harper of Las Vegas, NV, two great grandchildren, Charlie Fontaine and Emma Fontaine. Graveside service will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Elmwood Cemetery with visitation one hour prior at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donation may be made to your local Hospice.
