She was a longtime member of Third Presbyterian Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mary Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Albert Roy Trippe, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosanne (Leonard) Nichols; sons: Barry (Linda) Trippe and Allan Trippe, former daughter-in-law, Janie Bishop Trippe; grandchildren: Mark Trippe (Nancy Rose), Mary Bishop Steele (Phillip), John Trippe (Lauren), Allison Fowler (Zack), Matt Nichols (Mica) and Amanda Nichols; great grandchildren: Maggie Fowler, Thompson Trippe, John David Trippe, Brooks Fowler, Crewe Steele and Charlie Nichols; sister-in-law, Ann Crewe.
Her graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the historic Elmwood Cemetery. The family will gather at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel at 1:30 p.m. for a procession to the grave for her service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Brother Bryan Mission, P. O. Box 11254, Birmingham AL 35202 in her memory.
