Mary Elizabeth Webb

Webb, Mary Elizabeth, 82 went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husbands, G.W. Hallmark and Elmer Webb, her parents, Charles and Florence Shepperson, and her son-in-law, Hal Shelton. A native of Birmingham, Elizabeth lived most of her life in the Birmingham area as a nurse, later lived in Double Springs and retired in Gulf Shores. She worked many years at East End Hospital, Pinson Clinic, and retired from Meadow Craft Industries as their plant nurse. She started her Christian journey at a young age and was affiliated with Church of Christ and Southern Baptist Churches in Alabama. She centered her life on her family and considered her greatest accomplishment in raising her children. She is survived by three daughters, June Shelton Fadely (Butch), Elaine Turner, Kathy Cole (Donnie), one son, Charles Hallmark(Elaine), nine grandchildren, Kay Shelton Chenoweth (David), Hal Shelton (Amberly), Larry Shelton(Carla), Jim Turner, Chad Hallmark (Nicole), Amy Bragen (Todd), Jennifer Beach (Chris), Greg Adams, Jordan Elizabeth Adams, seven Great-grandchildren and two Great-great-grandchildren. Her nephew, Dr. Gerald Hallmark will be officiating funeral services on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with burial following in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank Marilou Rucker for her love and kindness to our mother during the last years of her life.
