Mary Geneva Woods

She was born in Kentucky on February 15, 1926, to Lee & Emily Mattingly. Mary was retired from Tot Stop Daycare and Villa Maria Retirement Home. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary was loved by all who knew her and will be missed deeply.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James C. Woods; her parents, Lee and Emily Mattingly; and three of her brothers, Charles Mattingly, Joseph Mattingly, and Paul Mattingly.

Left to cherish her memory are her three loving sons, Dennis (Rosemary) Woods, Stephen (Lynn) Woods, and Timothy (Joy) Woods; five grandchildren, Wendy (Steven) Johnson, Amanda Robinson, Jill Woods, Alan (Lauren) Woods, and Adam (Jennifer) Woods; along with four great-grandchildren, Ava, Riley, Seth, and Caleb. Also surviving her is her brother, Fred (Linda) Mattingly.

Visitation will be at St. Barnabas Catholic Church on Friday, July 20, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
