WHATLEY, MATTHEW ADAM OZANE, age 33 of Nashville, formerly of Clay, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Auther Whatley; and grandmother, Betty Long. He is survived by his father, Mikel Whatley; mother, Debbie Whatley; brothers, Andrew Whatley and Christopher Whatley; grandmother, Carolyn Whatley; grandfather, Harold B. Long, Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Matthew loved the outdoors especially the ocean. He made many friends because of his willingness to help others. Matthew went to school at CCHS. His family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 5-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Saturday, August 31, 2019 beginning at 12:00.
