MCCOWN, MICHAEL age 60, of Clay, passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 4, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cindy McCown; son, Arian McCown (Judy); daughters, Cari Shores (Ross), Crystal Trott, and Alisa Huetter (Stephen); mother, Ruby Speer; brothers, Barry McCown (Teresa), Robert McCown, Kenneth Speer (Rhonda), and Tommy Speer (Judy); sisters, Becky Norman (Joe)and Joy Ann England (Calvin); granddaughter, Zoe Huetter; and many relatives and friends. Michael was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. His family will receive friends on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Monday, December 6, 2010 beginning at 2 PM with Bro. Rick Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
