Michael Wayne Moore, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 22, 2026.
Michael was the son of the late Jack Moore and Grace Jeter. Throughout his life, he was a man whose story was shaped by family, the experiences he shared with those he loved, and the memories he leaves behind.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann R. Moore; his son, Merrell “Trey” Horton III, and daughter-in-law, Gina Horton; his daughter, Kaly Waslin; and his grandson, Grant Horton.
He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Kimberly Matthews.
Michael’s passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. While his family mourns his loss, they will forever cherish the memories, moments, and experiences that made him such an important part of their lives.
A lifetime cannot be measured simply in years, but in the lives we touch, the love we share, and the memories we leave behind. Michael’s memory will live on through his family and all those whose lives were a part of his journey.
