Mildred J Davis

Mildred J. Davis, age 90, of Birmingham went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Willie Jack Davis; her parents Bernard and Mary Jetton; and her brother William D. Jetton.

She is survived by her children Randy Davis (Betty), Fonda Moore (Gary), and Nila Daniels (Danny); grandchildren Matt Davis (Krista), Luke Davis, Candace Hancock, Brooke Coulson (Ben), Courtney Hullihen (Stephen), Gina Fulmer (Joseph), Bryant Finney (Kelsie), Tim Daniels (Molly), and Tyler Daniels (Rachel); and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Mildred was a very active member of Crestway Baptist Church for over sixty years. She received her BS degree from Samford University and her Master’s degree from UAB. She was a retired teacher from the Birmingham Public School System.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. The funeral service will be Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Crestway Baptist Church (in the Davis Chapel) at 2:00 pm.
