Miriam Stone Morris

After a long and memorable life, Miriam Stone Morris, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2017. Miriam was a loving wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was superseded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert Morris, sister, Annette Hagood Hubbard, and parents, Waters and Eddie Lou Stone. Miriam is survived by her children, Rita Bostick (Joy), Steve Morris (Kim), L W Morris, and brother, James Stone (Carolyn). She was a beloved Grandmother to Mandy Day (Matt), Great Grandmother to Stephanie Perkins (Stephen), and Great-Great Grandmother to Dimitri Troutt. Miriam was a devoted member of the Baptist faith and was a staff member of Huffman Baptist Church for 35 years. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 9:00 to 11:00AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00AM. Internment will immediately follow the Memorial Service for family at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East Cemetery.
