

God called home a special soul on Sunday July 16, 2017. Nancy was a lifelong resident of the Birmingham area. She was a loving and caring wife of her four husbands, which she cared for with grace and dignity through their illnesses. She was a loving mother to Beverly and Mark throughout her life. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, David, Gina, Charlie and Chris along with many others by way of her marriages. Nancy was active in the ministries at Riverchase United Methodist Church for many years. She was a true example of the values she taught her children and grandchildren. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Beverly Hearn, son Mark Hearn (Linda). Grandchildren, David Lavecchia, Atlanta Ga. Gina Crocker (Heath) Orlando, Fl. Charlie Hearn (Sarah Catherine) Homewood, Al. and Chris Hearn (Lauren) Sandy Springs, Ga. Her Great Grandchildren, Hayden, Olivia, Gaines, Cora Bonnie and her name sake Baker Hearn whom she never had the opportunity to enjoy Also survived by a special son and Daughter in law Dexter and Rhonda Day along with their two children Lauren and Hannah. Nancy spent her final days at The Oaks on Parkwood assisted living center where she received some of the best care available. The family would like to thank the staff at The Oaks and the many members of the Kindred Hospice Group that provided the compassionate care she received during her last days. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Bluff Park United Methodist Church Under the Bridge ministry of to the Bluff Park United Methodist Church youth group or you may make a donation to a charity of your choice.
