

Nancy Williams Turner, age 85, of Adamsville, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Nancy was born July 4, 1936 to Audrey and Eugenia Williams, both of whom preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Manley Turner, Sr.; son James Manley Turner, Jr.; and brother, Thomas "Bub" Williams. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, Nancy Anne White (Dennis), Barry Randall Turner, and Patrick Grant Turner; grandchildren, Chance White, Joshua Patridge (Brooke), Katie Morton (Tanner), Ethan Turner, Jordan Turner, Julia Donopria, and Annebella Donopria; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Madison, and Landon Turner; siblings, Elizabeth Ann Phillips (J.E.), Judy Howde (David), Deborah Williams Fulton (Charley), Susan Latham, and James Stephen Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a loving teacher to special needs elementary children in the Birmingham School system for 25 years. She was a wonderful mother and sister, and she loved her whole family. She had a beautiful voice and used it for many years in service to the Lord singing in the choir at Ensley Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at Elmwood Cemetery on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 11 am.
