Neil was a kind, caring, smart, wonderful Christian whose actions clearly matched his words. I feel very blessed to have known him during the last few years of his life. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, Saint Mark members, and those whose lives he touched in his numerous ministries. Rest in peace, Neil.

Neil and I started school together in Wylam in 1945. We continued our friendship for the rest of our life. In fact, I worked for Neil for a time at Mid-South . We shared several common goals in life , including a desire to reach people and share the gospel. Neil especially had a burden for the incarcerated and for years shared his teaching abilities within these walls.
The world was a better place because of Neil Segars and we will miss him greatly. He brought joy and compassion to all he met. We pray for Carolyn and the entire family during these times.
