Nell Fox Williams Spivey

SPIVEY, NELL FOX WILLIAMS, of Birmingham, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015. She was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. She was preceded In death by her husband, C. T. Spivey, Jr.; and parents, Nell and C. W. Williams. She is survived by her children, Nell Clardy Spivey Craft (Harry), Marsha Spivey Yessick (Steve), Curtis Spivey (Sheryl), Paul Spivey and David Spivey (Denise); sister, Betsy Jane Whitley; grandchildren, Jeff Craft, Karen Craft Barnes, Glenn Yessick, Embry Fox Yessick, Tal Spivey, Amanda Spivey Pittman, Laura Spivey Townsend, Halie Spivey Sell, Tyler Spivey and Andrea Spivey Pair; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Nell Fox retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education and Alabama Limousine and Landmark Tour and Travel. She was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church where she was a member and longtime teacher of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. Services will be at Huffman United Methodist Church on Sunday, May 31, 2015 with visitation from 1-2 and service at 2 PM with Bro. Ed Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or TEARS.
