Raised in the Houston/Clear Lake area of Texas, Noah developed a lifelong love of music, skateboarding, and the outdoors. He was fiercely loyal to those he cared about, and many of the friendships he formed in childhood lasted throughout his life.
As a young man, Noah briefly but proudly served in the United States Army, where he developed a passion for tactical shooting and survival skills. In his adult years, he spent much of his career working in the railroad industry alongside his father. His work allowed him the unique opportunity to build relationships with customers from many different parts of the world.
Noah was also exceptionally creative and talented. Entirely self taught, he enjoyed woodworking, leatherworking, tool making, and sketching, taking great pride in creating things with his own hands. Yet of all his accomplishments, none meant more to him than being the father of his four beloved children.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Dr. Melissa Dillard; his son, Joshua Dillard; his daughter and son-in-law, Lily and Drake Ewing; his daughters, Madeleine and Dahlia Dillard; his father Marvin Dillard; his mother Shirley Dillard, his brothers, Chad, Eric, and Shelby Dillard; and many cherished relatives and friends throughout Texas, Arkansas, and Alabama. Although he did not live to meet her, Noah was filled with joy and anticipation as he looked forward to welcoming his first grandchild, a baby girl, Meredith, who is expected in August.
In his final days, Noah was lovingly surrounded by family and dear friends whose presence brought him great comfort and peace.
A memorial service celebrating Noah's life will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham, Alabama. Visitation for family will begin at 12:30 PM. Public visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, followed by a chapel service with light reception, and a graveside dedication. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be considered for the American Cancer Society.
Noah will be remembered for his creativity, adventurous spirit, unwavering devotion to his family, and the quiet strength with which he faced life's greatest challenges. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
