Norma DeLoach O'Loughlin, 80, of Vestavia Hills passed away peacefully on October 31, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.E. and Helen DeLoach, and grandson, Eric Moor. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Maurice; her daughters Vicki Moor (Robin), Cristal Anderson (Blake) and Enjoli O'Loughlin; her son, Kenneth O'Loughlin; grandchildren, Veronica Moor, Victoria Gambrell and Jagger Wade Anderson; and great-grandson, Hunter Miller. Norma was born in Clanton, AL, graduated as valedictorian of Ramsey High School in Birmingham, and attended Auburn University where she was a majorette. She had an inner strength that allowed her to love, nurture , and cherish a disabled son that God entrusted to her care. As she neared the end of her journey here on this earth, she was left without the strength to rise. So the Lord reached down his hand and lifted her up one more time. Norma is now with God Almighty "and all is well." Visitation will be on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10 to 11a.m. at Elmwood Chapel funeral home with a graveside service following at 11a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
