Norman E. Antonio, 80, passed away May 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Louise Antonio. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gail Richardson Antonio; children, Norman E. Antonio, Jr. (Stephanie) and Christina E. Antonio; grandchildren, Dulcinea Smith and Norman E. Antonio, III; brother, Joe Antonio (Kathy); sisters, Patricia Jean Antonio (Steven Shish) and Nancy Jones (Dee); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Norman graduated from Ensley High School in 1963. He served in the US Army in Vietnam. He worked for US Steel. While working at US Steel, he went on to establish Ensley Auto Paint and Body and Antonio Auto Parts and Sales.
Norman was a family man who was dedicated to his parents before their passing. He loved boating, golfing, and spending time at the lake and on the coast. He had a strong work ethic and enjoyed spending time growing his business. He will be greatly missed by his family.
A visitation will be on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 10 am until 11 am at Elmwood Chapel, a celebration of Norman’s life will follow at 11 am. He will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery. A reception will follow at Elmwood Chapel in the Celebration and Maple Rooms.
