Olen Wesley Matson Jr., age 73, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Feb. 27, 2023. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery.Pastor Andrew Ratliff officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1- 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Olen was preceded in death by his son, Robert Hodge; and parents, Olen Wesley Matson Sr. and Willowdean Browning Matson.
Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Cain Riggs; five grandchildren, Meighan, Amanda, Kyle, Tommy and Isaiah; great grandchild, Madison (Maddi); sisters, Sherry Cain and Shelia Graham; brother, David Matson (Lori) and a host of nieces and nephews.
