Patricia A Shankweiler

Patricia Ann Sachs Shankweiler was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania. During her childhood she lived in California, West Virginia, North Carolina and graduated from Central Catholic High School in Pennsylvania in 1948. She continued her education in business college and worked as a bookkeeper.

On April 14, 1951 she married her high school sweetheart, Donald C Shankweiler, Sr. who was in the Air Force. She loved being a Military Wife and traveled all over the world for thirty years. They were Blessed with five children.

As well as being a wonderful wife and mother she was always involved in community and church life. She taught school for nine years, volunteered with Hospice for 25 years, grade schools, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and tutored bilingual students. She continued her gift of volunteering in later years in Greeley, Colorado.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Shankweiler Clemons and her husband Robert, son Donald Shankweiler, Jr., son Mark Shankweiler and wife Suzi, son Thomas Shankweiler and wife Alexandria and brother Philip Sachs Jr. and wife Helen. She was greatly loved by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation of Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 10-11 AM at Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church with funeral mass beginning at 11:00.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Hospice in Patricia's

memory.
