Patsy Cobb Self, age 87, passed away on June 9, 2020. She was born on June 22, 1932, in Russellville, Alabama. She was a member of Rock Mountain Baptist Church in McCalla, Alabama and a former member of Berney Points Baptist Church. She faithfully served in the choirs at both churches and taught Sunday School for many years. She was a long-time member of Woodward Golf and Country Club and loved her golf buddies. Mrs. Self was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Self, parents C. V. And Nettie Cobb, and her sister Edna Earle Jackson. She is survived by her children, Beverly S. Patterson (Robert), Susan S. Dunn (Earle), and Rusty Self (Debi); her sister, Margaret C. Kesler (Gene); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Graveside service and burial to be at 11:00 a. m. at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Rock Mountain Baptist Church.
