Paul Martin Winfrey

Paul Martin Winfrey, 63 of Birmingham, AL passed away on August 6, 2026. Serving thirteen years abroad in the U.S. Navy as a Submarine Mechanic. He then took his skills into the construction industry becoming an accomplished Carpenter with Harbert Construction and the team that built the Liberty Park Veterans Memorial. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, grilling and the occasional gardening, along with a passion for watching football and soccer.  A loving Father, Stepfather, Husband, Brother and Uncle. Faithful to God, he knew his place in this world, to spread joy, laughter and a good time everywhere he went.  He is survived by his wife, Tonja and 3 sons, Michael (Angela), Joseph, Lucas and Stepson, Josh; Step Daughter, Samantha; Brothers, Steve and Eric (Janet); sisters, Kathleen (Tom) and Karen (Don).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, US, on August 17, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
