Peggy Hassler Wallis passed away Friday, 14 November 2014 in Birmingham, AL. She was a native of Birmingham, AL. Her parents, Frank R. Hassler and Callie Redmon Hassler preceded her in death. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Johnny R. Wallis and her son, Kim Hassler Wallis.
Peggy was graduated from Ensley High School in 1948. She attended Auburn University.
Peggy is survived by her son, Randy Wallis and her daughter, Cindy Joyce Hanger. Eight grandchildren surviving her are, Cal Wallis, Tanner Wallis, Kerri Wallis, Michael Chapman, Chad Hanger, Chase Hanger, Rachel Wallis, and Kimberly Wallis.
Playing bridge and traveling were hobbies that Peggy enjoyed.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Monday, November 17th at Elmwood Chapel with funeral service immediately following with Rev. Dan Ireland officiating.
