Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife, Ellen Coleman; his sons, Patrick (Juliana) Coleman and Kevin (Melanie) Coleman; his grandchildren, Bret Ashleigh Coleman, Jake Godwin, and Brett Godwin; and his brother, James (Alice) Coleman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter H. and Elizabeth Lally Coleman; and his brother John Coleman.
A visitation for Peter will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. Following the visitation will be a graveside at 2:00 PM at Forest Crest Cemetery, 5730 US Highway 78, Birmingham, AL 35210.
