Raymond Trammell

Raymond Larry Trammell of Pinson/Birmingham passed away on December 5th. He was a retired Crane Operator from U.S. Steel and Butler Manufacturing with over forty years of service in the steel industry. A graduate of Ensley High School and UAB, Larry or ”LT”/ Coach as he was known to by so many was Smart, Loving and Caring if you needed help he would find a way to get you the help you needed, even if it meant he went without. He also served in the Army National Guard from 1971-1977. He is survived by his Two Sons (Wayne [Elizabeth] & Wesley) Granddaughter Charlsey, Sisters (Patsy Hood[Eddie], Shirley Jordan[JC], His Brother (Toliver[Jan]) and a Host of nieces and nephews and The daughter he never had Christina Williams. Funeral services will be held Friday December 8th at 11 a.m. at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel and Viewing will be from 10 a.m. till service at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
