Rebecca J. Sims

REBECCA J. SIMS, age 89, of Boaz, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Rebecca was born on June 20, 1932. Rebecca (Nana) lived her life by God and her family. Heaven truly gained an angel on March 29, 2022 and we know we will see here again one day.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jack Sittre; parents Robert C. & Eunice Todd; Sister, Ruth Landmon; and brothers, Clyde Reid Todd, Ray Todd and Robert Todd.

She is survived by her sons, Monte Sittre (Annette) and Jack Sittre (Donna) ; grandchildren, Kristen, Wendy, Blake, Jacob and Patrick ; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Runetta Todd Cobb; best friend, Charlotte Charles and a host of nieces , nephews and relatives.

A visitation for Rebecca will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:15 PM at Sulphur Springs Cemetery, 7500 Roper Rd, Trussville, AL 35173.

Pallbearers are  Monte Sittre, Jack Sittre, Blake Sittre, Jacob Sittre, Patrick Benefield and Jared Jones.
