Regina Lynn Hawkins

A 1985 graduate of Pinson Valley High School, Regina married Allen Hawkins, and together they shared 30 wonderful years. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.

Regina was the proud mother of Wesley Trujillo, Rachel Hawkins, Olivia Hawkins, and AJ Hawkins. She is also survived by her mother, Patricia Bookmiller; her siblings, Gloria Bookmiller and Diane Piper; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John Bookmiller, and her brother, Alan Bookmiller. Her beloved dogs, Gypsy and Elsa, were constant companions who brought her great joy.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—cheering on Alabama football, painting, music, and watching the wildlife that roamed her property. Above all, Regina’s gentle spirit and giving heart defined her. She would do anything for her family, friends, and pets, and her presence was a blessing to all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
