FRANKLIN, RHONDA GURLEY, age 49, of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Gurley; and mother, Mary Virginia Bates Love. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Larry Franklin; brothers, Joe (Tammy) Gurley and Gil (Jeri) Love; sisters, Susan (Randy) Carnes, Rachel (James) Lee, Donna (Vick) Cook, Jeana Bynum and Laura (Larry) Underwood; father, Donald Love; sisters in law, Judy Franklin and Ethel Seitz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rhonda was retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 12-2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 2 PM.
